Biography

Southbridge: Gregory J. “Gingy” Iozzo, 55, of Westwood Pkwy, died Monday, Nov. 23rd, after a long illness.
He is survived by his brother Brian A. Iozzo of Southbridge; his sister, Catherine M. Melendez of Southbridge; a nephew, Greg Melendez and a niece, Amy Melendez, both of Southbridge. He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Gary and Margaret A. (Allen) Iozzo.
Gingy was a driving instructor for 30 years and was the owner of the Deluxe Driving School in Southbridge. He was a well known and well liked individual in the Southbridge area. He enjoyed snow skiing and golf and was a member of Cohasse Country Club in Southbridge.
His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 30th, at 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southbridge. There are no calling hours.
The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
