Southbridge: Beatrice C. (Monaco) Taglione, 95, formerly of 60 Breezy Lane, Quinebaug, died Thursday, Feb. 4th in the Radius Healthcare Center, Southbridge, after a long illness.
Her husband, James V. Taglione, died in 1995. She leaves two brothers, James Monaco and Angelo Monaco, both of Southbridge; a sister, Jacqueline Bonavita of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lardy Monaco and Thomas Monaco and a sister, Angelina Stawiecki. She was born in Pascoag, RI, the daughter of Felix and Cecelia (Gillio) Monaco.
Beatrice was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at the Hermitage Nursing Home in Worcester for many years before retiring several years ago. She was a former member of St. Stephen's Church in Quinebaug.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Feb. 8th, at 10:00am in St. Hedwig's Church, Everett St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. There are no calling hours.
The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
