Biography
Southbridge: Margaret J. Czyzewski, 98, formerly of Dennison Dr., died Wednesday, Aug. 17th, in the Wingate Nursing Home, East Longmeadow, after a long illness.
She leaves 5 nephews, Edward Brodecki of Springfield, John Brodecki of Springfield, Henry Brodecki of Wilbraham, Robert Brodecki of Ohio and Richard Brodecki of Springfield; and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Victoria Brodecki, Rose Zisk and Helen Czyzewski. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Alexander and Zofi (Suminski) Czyzewski. She was a graduate of the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA.
Margaret worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for 39 years and was a member of its Quarter Century Club.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20th from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the Blessed John Paul II Parish, 267 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20th, from 9:30 to 10:30am before the Mass.
