Biography
Southbridge: Isabelle A. (Paquette) Saucier, 98, of 539 Charlton St., died, Tuesday, March 21st, in the Radius Health Care Center, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband, Philip J. Saucier, died in 1994. She leaves a son, David E. Saucier and his wife, Kathleen Chane of Centerville and many nieces and nephews. A son, Philip Saucier, died in 1942. She was the final surviving sibling among many brothers and sisters. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Deneault) Paquette and was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade High School.
Mrs. Saucier worked as a secretary for the American Optical Co. in Southbridge and later worked as a clerk at Edwards Department Store in Southbridge and later at Ames Department Store before retiring many years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Southbridge and its St. Anne's Sodality.
The funeral will be held on Friday, March 24th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 30 Charlton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
