Holland: Adeline P. (Kleczka) Germaine, 100, of Stafford Rd., Holland, passed away on Friday, March 20 ^th , in Lanessa Extended Care, Webster, after a brief illness.

Her husband, Gerald E. Germaine, passed away in 2006.  She leaves her son, Gerald J. Germaine and his wife Leslie of Holland and her daughter, Dr. Jude Germaine of Storrs, CT.  She was predeceased by her six brothers and sisters.  She was born in Webster the daughter of William and Frances (Bury) Kleczka.

Adeline worked for many years at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge.  She also worked as the head cook for the Town of Holland Elementary School lunch program, helping to start the program in its early years.  She was a member of the Holland Women's Club.  She was a great artist, especially painting with oils. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.

Her funeral and burial in Holland Cemetery, Holland, will be private.  There are no calling hours.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
