Southbridge: Allan W. Blair, Jr., of Everett St., passed away on Friday, April 23 rd at UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester after a tragic fall at home the week prior.
He leaves behind his daughters, Chelsea Lowe and her husband Bradley of East Brookfield and Beth A. Young of Southbridge; a son, Dillon A. Young of Southbridge; his father, Allan W. Blair Sr. of Southbridge; a brother, James E. Blair of Southbridge, four grandchildren, Ayden Blair, Cameron Nimmo, Mila Lowe, and another beautiful granddaughter due this fall; nieces and nephews Alison Blair, Lily Blair, and Bradley Blair. Allan was predeceased by his beloved first daughter, Kaylyn E. Blair in 2020. He was born in Southbridge, the son of the late Elizabeth Ann (Galonek) Adams.
Allan worked as a project manager for LCT Construction and Services Inc. for the past few years. He truly enjoyed living life to the fullest every single day. He loved the outdoors, whether it be driving through Yale forest, boating around Holland, stopping by every yard sale he saw, riding his 4wheeler, or spending time at the local rod and gun clubs. He had a great sense of humor and there was nothing more that he loved than making others laugh. He was the most incredible storyteller, he would light up a room taking on characters and sharing exquisite details of his wild and crazy stories. His presence was undeniable, and his many, many friends he leaves behind could attest to that as well. Allan loved his children deeply and cherished the time and relationships he had with each of them. He spoke about them with pride and was always there for them.
