Andrea "Henry" Skarani, the son of Gregory Ligori Skarani and Effermia (Anastas) Skarani.  Born on Jan. 17, 1933 and lived all of his life in Southbridge, graduating High-school, continuing a family business, and drafted into the United States Army during the Korean war.  A devoted member of St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church he married in 1964 and raised a family.  A past President of the Sturbridge Rotary, a Mason, a director with the Shriners, volunteering at the burn center offering tours at the Springfield hospital, the McDonald's Coffee Club, and a member of various other civic groups.

At home on January 14, 2022, three days prior to his 89th year, surrounded by his family, he left his physical body to join the eternal world.  Henry was an avid gardener of fruit trees.

He leaves his beloved wife of 58 years, Doris (Livernois) Skarani; his son, Glenn G. Skarani of Ormond-by-the-Sea, FL; a daughter, Maryann Skarani and her husband Albert of Southbridge; his brother, Joe Skarani of Southbridge; his sister, Shirley Hanlon of Southbridge; his grandchildren, Brendan Shunaman, Amber Shunaman, Darrian Shunaman & his partner Erin, and little Kate Ann.  Henry was predeceased by a brother, Christy Skarani and a sister, Helen Poulin.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22nd, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a service at 12:00pm in the St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church, Morris St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22nd, from 9:30am to 11:30am prior to the service.
