Southbridge: Ann Marie (Sugda) Bernardone, 84, of Dresser St., passed away on Monday, Sept. 6 ^th , in her nieces home after a long illness.

Her husband, Donato J. "Danny" Bernardone, passed away in 2002.  She leaves her brother, Peter J. Sugda, Jr. of South Harwich; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.  She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Peter J. and Loretta M. (Rogers) Sugda.  She graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial College.

Ann Marie was an accountant for JC Penny in Sturbridge before retiring many years ago.  She was previously in the restaurant business with her husband Danny.  They owned and operated The Indian Village Restaurant and Inn in Brimfield, Enzo's Restaurant in California and Danny's Place in Southbridge.  She enjoyed walking around Webster Lake, getting together with classmates, and loved visiting Cape Cod and going to the beach.

Ann Marie's funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 13 ^th , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 247 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Monday, Sept. 13 ^th , from 9:30 to 10:30am, prior to the Mass.
