Southbridge: Ann M. Decataldi, 78, of Knollwood Dr., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9 ^th , in the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester, after a long illness.

She was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late August and Linda (Tenderini) Decataldi.  She was predeceased by her two brothers and sister-in-laws, Louis "Stretch" Decataldi and his wife Virginia and Gregory Decataldi and his wife Irene.  Ann is survived by her two nieces, Cynthia Simonelli and her husband Richard of West Newton and Pia Schuler and her husband Thomas of Holliston and Durham, NC.

Ann was an accounts receivable manager at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for 47 years, retiring many years ago.  She was a member of the American Optical Quarter Century Club.  She was an active member of the Wells Athletic Association at the AO and would often organize trips and parties for the club.  She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Parish (now St. John Paul II Parish).  She enjoyed travelling and cooking.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Ann's funeral service and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.
