Sturbridge / Southbridge: Anna M. (Raulli) Gentili, 86, formerly of Southbridge, passed away on Sunday, April 12th, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, after a long illness.

Her husband, Arthur Q. Gentili, passed away in 2003.  She leaves her two children, Anthony M. Gentili and his wife Karen of East Brookfield and Laura A. Gentili of Sturbridge; her grandson, Andrew M. Gentili of East Brookfield; and several nieces and nephews.  She also leaves her beloved grand dogs, Brady and Bailey.  She was predeceased by her brother, Francesco Raulli and her sister, Lena Phillips.  Anna was born in Southbridge, the daughter of Michele and Filomena (Taglieri) Raulli.

Anna worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for several years.  She also worked as a house cleaner for many years, retiring many years ago.  She loved to cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She had a great love for Christmas and loved angels.  One of Anna's greatest joys in recent years was her dream trip to Italy with her children, grandson, her sister and her niece.

A funeral Mass for Anna will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, at 11:00am in the St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 247 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  There are no calling hours.
