Southbridge: Antoinette G.B. (Normandin) Benoit, 85, of Water St., passed away on Monday, June 28 ^th , in the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, West Brookfield, after a long illness.

Her husband, Roger Benoit, passed away in 1998.  Her son, Randy Theberge, passed away in 1984.  She leaves her daughter, Barbara Allen of Monson; her brother, Thomas Normandin of St. Cloud, FL; and her nephew, Jonathan Normandin and his wife Wendy of Monson; and many other nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by eight brothers, George Normandin, Allard Normandin, James Normandin, Paul Normandin, David Normandin, Pierre Normandin, Rene Normandin and Harvey Normandin, and a sister, Anne Marie Aho.  She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Zephirin and Cecile (Duhamel) Normandin.

Antoinette worked at Control Switch (now Line Master) in Woodstock, CT for many years.  She later worked at the Big Bunny Supermarket in Southbridge and Rite Aid in Southbridge before retiring several years ago.  She enjoyed going to the car races with her husband at the Stafford Speedway in Stafford, CT.  She also enjoyed taking trips to the beach.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 1 ^st , at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, July 1 ^st , from 9:30 to 11:00am, prior to the service .
