Oxford: Barbara J. (LeBreton) Baribeau, 83, of Thayer Pond Dr., Oxford, passed away on Thursday, May 25th, in Advinia Care at Northbridge, after an illness.

Her husband of 36 years, Ronald S. Baribeau died in 1997. She leaves her two sons, Robert LeBreton and his wife Laura of Bonita Springs, FL and Rooney Baribeau and his wife Lily of Stuart, FL; her daughter, Melissa Nelson and her husband Jonathan of Oxford; her three grandchildren, Shawn Nelson, Sandra LeBreton and Samantha LeBreton.   Barbara was predeceased by three brothers, Fred LeBreton, Gary LeBreton and Richard LeBreton; and two sisters, Shirley St. Germain and Nancy LaBreton.

She was born in Spencer the daughter of Alfred and Stella (Houle) LeBreton.

Barbara worked for several years as a waitress at many restaurants including J.T.'s Steak House, White House and Friendly's in Auburn.  She was an avid gardener and was the envy of the neighborhood with her rock gardens, seasonal outdoor décor and love of playing cards with friends and family.

Funeral Services and burial for Barbara will be private.  There are no calling hours.

Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
