East Longmeadow / Sturbridge: Barbara J. (Corriveau) Levesque, 76, formerly of Sturbridge, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30 ^th , in her home in East Longmeadow after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, Paul H. Levesque; her four children, Candy L. Caputo and  her husband Nat of East Longmeadow, Henry J. Levesque and his wife Michelle of Selbyville, Ill., Paul H. Levesque, Jr. of Agawam and Lisa M. Hill and her husband Dan of Idaho; her four brothers, Paul Corriveau of Falmouth, Charles Corriveau of Fall River, Mark Corriveau of Southbridge and Gerome Burke of Southbridge; her cousin, Sharon Mandeville; her 10 grandchildren, Joseph Forte III and his wife Kayla, Heather Forte, Alijah Caputo, Angel Caputo, Cassandra Smeltzer, Bethany Smeltzer, Brandon Labarge, Jonathan Hill, Alexa Hill and Steven Levesque and his wife Julie; 5 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Corriveau and Albert Corriveau and her stepfather, Victor Desrosiers.  Barbara was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Alphonse Corriveau and Aurora (Page) Corriveau Desrosiers.

Barbara worked at Schott Fiber Optics in Southbridge for many years, retiring several years ago.  She previously worked at the Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, the American Optical Co. in Southbridge and Optim Fiber Optics in Sturbridge.  After retiring she worked part time for The Bridge in Southbridge.  She was a member of St. Anne's and St. Patrick's Parish in Sturbridge.  Barbara enjoyed doing crafts.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Dec, 5 ^th , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Anne's Church, 16 Church St., Sturbridge.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4 ^th , from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
