Sturbridge: Beth Ann (Porter) Clark, born June 16, 1959, departed this world on September 25th to be with Jesus Christ and to join her loving parents, James R. Porter and Mary (Bayer) Porter.

She leaves her two sons, Andrew J. Clark of Sturbridge and Jacob P. Clark and his wife Kristin of Northborough; a daughter, Hannah D. Trombley and her husband Nathan of Fiskdale; her brother Robert J. Porter and his wife Chris of Toledo OH; two sisters, Mary Carolyn Porter of Sturbridge and Susan R. Jeffries and her husband Merle of Swanton, OH; her five cherished grandchildren, John Clark, Myla Trombley, Levi Trombley, Maci Trombley, Cleo Trombley and many nieces and nephews.

Beth was born in Toledo, Ohio and spent most of her childhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She went on to receive her master's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She spent the last 20 years of her life in Sturbridge, MA. Beth was a beloved enrichment teacher, working with the students she loved at Burgess Elementary School. Her big heart led her to a passion for education just like her mother. She was blessed with many wonderful friends who became like family and remained a treasured part of her daily life. Beth would be described to all who knew her as selfless, loving, and beautiful. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her ability to make anyone smile. To know her is to love and adore her. She was there not just for her family and friends, but for anyone in need. Above all, her family was her greatest joy. Her happiest moments were spent with her children and grandchildren, whom she always told "I love you to the moon and back". Beth was a faithful believer of Christ and the power of prayer. She was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Anne and St. Patrick's Parish in Fiskdale.

Beth's funeral will be held on Saturday Oct. 3rd, from the Daniel T Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Anne Church, 16 Church St., Sturbridge. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Friday, Oct. 2nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
