Southbridge: Brian P. Benoit, 47, passed away on Monday, July 3rd, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves his daughter, Faith Ann Benoit of Southbridge; his step daughter, Hannah Nale of Southbridge; his sister, Penny LaBarge and her husband Russell of Southbridge; his three brothers, Francis Benoit and his fiancé Layne Gobinski of Florida, Jeffery Benoit and his husband Christopher Grigaitis of Southbridge and Todd Benoit and his fiancé Eyvette Gomes of Southbridge; his former longtime companion and mother of his daughter, April Nale of Southbridge; his step grandson, Adrian Breckterfield; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his two brothers, Mark Benoit and Alfred "Tony" Benoit and his nephew Russell LaBarge, Jr.  Brian was born in Southbridge the son of the late Francis A. and Kathleen M. (Trifone) Benoit.

Brian owned and operated F. Benoit Concrete, specializing in concrete finishing work.  He later worked in landscaping with Splaine Brothers Landscaping.  He loved fishing.  He was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics.  He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Brian's greatest joy was spending time with his daughter Faith Ann.

A funeral service for Brian will be held on Saturday, July 15th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Saturday, July 15th, from 9:00 to 11:00am, prior to the service.
