Charlton: Brian E. DeLuca, 67, of Meadowview Dr., passed away on Monday, August 31st, at UMass Memorial Heath-Harrington, Southbridge, after a short illness.

He leaves his daughter, Jamie L. Coal and her partner Brandon Gaumond of Willimantic, CT; his two sons, Brian E. DeLuca II and his partner Denise LaVallee of Woonsocket, RI and Matthew A. DeLuca and his partner Amanda Caruso of Cranston, RI; his brother, Leslie DeLuca and his wife Jayne of Brimfield; and his five grandchildren, Devin Caruso, Evan LeBoeuf, Bryce LeBoeuf, Alexia Coal and Cameron DeLuca.  He also leaves his beloved cat, Pepe.  He was predeceased by his brother, James A. DeLuca, Jr and his stepfather, Manuel J. DeJesus.  Brian was born in Holden the son of the late James A. Deluca and Harriet (Gove) DeLuca DeJesus.

Brian was a longtime welder and worked for Kenweld Welding and for Chiller components for many years.  Brian loved nature, and enjoyed walking in nature, hunting and fishing.  In his younger years he enjoyed horseback riding.  He loved cooking and his neighbors and would frequently bake and share his creations with his neighbors. Brian also loved to have a relaxing cigarette with his family and friends.

Brian's funeral services will be private.  There are no calling hours.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
