Southbridge : Carmen M. Carrasco, 57, passed away on Monday, July 18 ^th , in her home surrounded by her family, after a long illness.

She leaves her three sons, Luis Cruz and his fiancé Natasha Cancel of Worcester, Luis Soto and his wife Ileana Morales of Southbridge and Emmanuel Soto and his wife Monica Marie Wardle of Southbridge; her mother, Sara Torres of Southbridge; her three brothers, Antonio Carrasco, Wilfredo Carrasco and Carlos Carrasco, all of Southbridge; her sister, Ana Berrios of Southbridge; and her nine beloved grandchildren, Kayden LaFlamme, Nikolias Cruz, Nayali Soto, Ileani Soto, Jenasis Soto, Ava Soto, Alizah Soto, Ellieannie Soto and Layliannise Soto.  She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Wilfredo Carrasco.

Carmen worked for Gentex in Dudley for many years before retiring due to illness.  She was an excellent cook and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and wordsearch puzzles.  Above all she was a loving mother and grandmother who put her family's needs before hers.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 22 ^nd , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, July 21 ^st , from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
