Holland: Charles E. Garrand, 70, of Bernie Rd., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16th in UMass Memorial Hospital- Harrington, Southbridge after an illness.

He leaves his beloved wife of 36 years, Joyce D. (Rockwood) Garrand; his two daughters, Amanda Garrand and Rebekah L. Garrand both of Worcester; his 7 siblings and 7 grandchildren.

Charles was born in Springfield the son of Charles and Bertha (Peltier) Garrand. He worked for many years as a Utility Worker for Hyde Manufacturing Co.

Charles loved football and Boxing, as well as camping and fishing with his grandkids.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd, at 9:00am from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  A graveside service for Charles will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
