Southbridge: Christine "Chris" (Collins) Kudym, 73, of Therese Ave., passed away at home on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.

She was preceded by her husband of 25 years, Donald L. Kudym, Sr.. She leaves her daughter, Pamela J. Antczak and her husband Robert of Southbridge; her two stepsons, Donald L. Kudym, Jr. and his wife Kim of Plymouth and Kenneth M. Kudym of Haverhill; a sister Dorene Tracey of Plymouth; and brother, Peter Collins of Weymouth; three grandchildren, Zofia, Izabella and Gabriella; her three step grandchildren, Holly, Dylan and Noah and one step great grandson, Ryan. She also leaves behind two nieces and a nephew.  Chris was predeceased by a step daughter, Kim Kudym who was married to Joe Texeria.

She was born in Boston the daughter of Robert and June (Garvey) Collins. Chris grew up in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. She worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for several companies prior to retiring. Chris proudly graduated from Charis Bible College in Plymouth, MA in 2020. Chris was very passionate about helping others especially in her position providing Pastoral Care at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  She was a devout Christian and member of the ViewPoint Christian Church in Southbridge.  Chris was a member of the church board of directors as well as led the church's women's ministry.  She was a fan of Motown and had a huge love for football.  Chris looked forward to every football season and enjoyed not only watching the New England Patriots but also several other teams.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who without question dropped everything to help care for her daughter, Pamela with her cancer treatment as well as help care for her husband, Donald when he was sick.

A funeral service for Christine will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at 10:00 AM in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will be private.

Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Monday, Dec. 2nd, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
