Brookfield: Christine E. (Noonan) Williams, 57, of Chestnut St., passed away on Monday, April 19 ^th , in the Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital, Worcester, after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

She leaves her husband of 23 years, Thomas M. Williams; her stepson, Casey T. Williams of Brimfield; her two brothers, Edward Noonan and his wife Kim of Weddington, NC and Patrick Noonan of Hadley; her two sisters, Donna Toomey and her husband Jim of Lee and Maureen Strusky and her husband Stan of Summerville, SC; and many nieces and nephews.  She also leaves her beloved dog, Fenway.  She was born in Pittsfield the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Wertz) Noonan.  She grew up in Lee, graduated from Lee High School and went on to graduate as a Registered Nurse from the St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in 1984.

Christine was the Director of Case Management at St. Vincent Hospital for several years before retiring due to illness.  She previously worked as an RN at Fairlawn Hospital and the Galvin Center.  Christine loved vacationing in Maine and going to the beach.  She also enjoyed camping and campfires. She touched many lives with her compassion and caring nursing skills.

Calling hours for Christine will be held on Friday, from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at the Brimfield Cemetery, Brimfield.
