Sturbridge: Darleen R. (Senecal) Chapdelaine, 73, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26 ^th , in her home after a sudden illness.

She leaves her husband of 51 years, Ronald A. Chapdelaine; her son, Attny Jeffrey R. Chapdelaine of Boston; her twin daughters, Michelle L. Chapdelaine and her partner Carrie Kuszpa of Spencer and Monique L. Chapdelaine and her partner Katie Connors of Middleton; her six niece and nephews, Karin Checka, Kevin Checka, Joel Checka, Jonathan Checka, Jason Checka and Justin Checka; and many cousins.   She also leaves her beloved dog, "Francois".  She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Silvia Checka, this past November.  Darleen was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Roland R. "Jack" and Gloria C. (Roberts) Senecal.

Darleen worked as a pharmaceutical technician for Fallon Clinic in Sturbridge, retiring several years ago.  She previously worked as a hairdresser at Whitford Beauty Salon in Southbridge and later worked at Langevin Jewelers in Southbridge.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 2 ^nd , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge.   Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, March 1 ^st , from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
