Southbridge: David O. Brodeur, Sr., 65, of Cross St., passed away at home on Wednesday, July 22nd, after a brief illness.

He leaves his two sons, Jesse Recore of Brookfield and David A. Brodeur, Jr., of Southbridge; his three daughters, Melissa A. Brodeur of Southbridge, Holly L. Brodeur of Southbridge and Carrie B. Brodeur of Worcester; his beloved 14 grandchildren, Gabe Recore, Lily Recore, Joel A. Diaz, Jr., Sophia A. Diaz, Nate Machuca, Yanuel Machuca, David Machuca, Lihanalee Machuca, Juliana Solano, Nina Solano, Carmen Solano, Robert Solano IV, Jacob Solano and Evan I. Brodeur. David was predeceased by his two brothers, John Brodeur and James Brodeur.

He was born in Springfield the son of Oswald and Doris (Desmarais) Brodeur.  David graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School.  He worked for the past 12 years as a truck driver for Key Stone Auto. David enjoyed cars, drag races, monster trucks, trips to the beach as well as amusement parks and time at the Big E in Springfield.

Funeral services for David will be private.  There are no calling hours.
