Sturbridge : David B. Petrin, age 76, passed away on April 29 ^th at his home after a brief illness.

David was born in Newport, NH son of Joseph Vital and Mellie (Baxter) Petrin. He leaves his beloved wife, Debra A. (Smith) Petrin of Sturbridge; son, Sean M. Petrin of Worcester; daughter, Sarah N. Petrin of Southbridge; granddaughter, Alyssa B. Allen; and great-grandson, Aiden J. Salo.

David was predeceased by his brother Rodney Petrin.

David was a best friend, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and mentor. He inspired and supported all he has ever met, to look beyond the perception of normal. He has and always will motivate us to pursue our dreams and to act righteous with our hearts. He will be missed and forever loved, until we meet again.
