Southbridge: Dennis P Lippe passed away surrounded by his family after a long, tough painful battle with cancer.

He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 39 years, Debra I. Lippe; his two sons, Daniel P. Lippe of Southbridge and Chad P. Arsenault and his wife Sarah of Woodstock; his brother, Donald Lippe and his wife Ellen of Bonita Springs, FL; his sister, Paulette Theodoss and her husband Arthur; his two Grandchildren, Emma-Leigh Arsenault and Zackery Arsenault who he was very fond of and enjoyed; his two brothers-in-law, Paul Cournoyer and Victor Palmerino and his wife Nora; and many nieces and nephews who he loved each of them for their own uniqueness. He also leaves his beloved dog, Lily, who brought him so much joy.  He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Cournoyer, this past December.  Dennis was born in Southbridge the son of the late Lionel and Germaine (Fournier) Lippe.  He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era.

Dennis was a dedicated employee of Incom Inc., in Charlton, for 37 years, retiring several years ago.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid gardener, and he loved his craft of wood burning and carving, creating walking sticks and Native American crafts. His favorite pastimes were watching New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Celtics attending live Blues shows and listening to Blues music. He could also often be found sitting in his rocker on the front porch feeding wildlife and admiring his gardens.

A calling hour for Dennis will be held on Wednesday, July 29th, from 11:00am to 12:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 12:00pm.  Burial will be private.
