Southbridge – Donald R. Bailey, 66, of South St., passed away on Monday, Feb. 19th, in UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester, after recent motor vehicle accident.

He leaves Deborah Bailey and her husband Kike Rodriguez of Southbridge and Diane Trombley of Columbus, GA, who were his caregivers.  He also leaves two brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two sisters.

Donald was born in Southbridge the son of Clarence E. and Constance M. (Desourdy) Bailey.   He served honorably in the United States Army.  Donald worked for 10 years as a school maintenance worker prior to retiring.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as the Improved Order of Red Men.  Donald enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino and playing on local pool leagues.  He was a kind person who loved to help others.

A funeral Mass for Donald will be held on Friday, Feb. 23rd, at 11:00 am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 243 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.
