Southbridge/Palm Coast, FL : Donald V. LaFleche, 79, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Southbridge, passed away at home with his loving family by his side, on Wednesday, June 16 ^th , after a valiant battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his children Lynne Marie Larose of Granby; Donald A. LaFleche of Fiskdale, and Timothy W. LaFleche and his wife Tammy of Oxford; as well as 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves his brother Armand W. LaFleche and his wife Claire of Southbridge; and his two sisters Gloria Thomas and Louise Andrews of Hastings, FL; along with many nieces and nephews.

He leaves his companion, Barbara LaFleche of Palm Coast, FL; and his four stepsons, Michael J. Kiley and his wife Jennifer of Thompson, CT; Christopher P. Jones and his husband Michael of Palm Coast, FL; Kevin D. Kiley and his wife Tina Nelson of Woodstock, CT; and James D. Kiley and his companion Frances Jones of Wilmington, DE.

He was born in Southbridge the son of Armand W. and Rita E. (LaBrie) LaFleche.

Donald was a former Captain of the Huguenot Station 2 North Oxford fire department.  He was also a long serving member and EMT of the Oxford ambulance squad.  He was a member of the Oxford Fire Fighter's Association as well as an associate member of the Improved Order of Red Men and the Polish American Club.  Donald loved his dog Keno and two cats Kit Kit and Peanut. He was an avid piano player and enjoyed watching old westerns and game shows.

A private graveside service for Donald was held on Friday, July 16 ^th , in St. George Cemetery, Southbridge.
