Southbridge: Elizabeth M. "Betty" (DiPaolo) Allard, 94, of Dresser St., passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Sunday, Oct. 13th, in the Southbridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Southbridge, after an illness.

Betty's husband, Leonard A. Allard died in 2010. Her first husband, Normand J. Lamoureux died in 1973.  She leaves her son, Donald J. Lamoureux of Southbridge and a brother, John J. "Chuck" DiPaolo of Southbridge.  Betty was predeceased by a brother, Dominic DiPaolo and three sisters, Rose Desourdy, Mary Laroche and Josephine DiPaolo.

Betty was born in Southbridge the daughter of Antonio and Lugia (Bucchiacchio) DiPaolo. She worked for 44 years at the American Optical Company in Southbridge as Mold Injector prior to retiring many years ago.  Betty was a member of the St. Rita's Society of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge.  She was also a member of the Quarter Century Club and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Calling hours for Betty will be held on Monday, Oct. 21st from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  A graveside services and burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct 22nd at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.
