Southbridge: Elizabeth P. (Morris) Haight, 69, of South St., passed away on March 10th in Mass General Hospital, Boston.

Elizabeth's husband of 30 years, John "Jack" Haight, passed away in 2021.  She leaves her loving sons, Enrique Polletta and his partner Arlynn, Anthony Polletta and his wife Amy; her loving daughter, Angela Penny; her loving stepchildren, Jesse Carmichael and his wife Nicole, and Matthew Haight and Carrie Marks; her sisters, Kat and Cindy; her grandchildren, Dominic, Mia, Gracie, Wyatt, Madison, Adeline, Anthony, and Jack.

Elizabeth was born in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of George Lawrence and Pauline Hariette (Fortin) Morris.

NeNe, as she was so lovingly called by her grandchildren, was the heart of her family and the very definition of unconditional love. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life, and she made every moment with them feel magical, whether it was with ice cream, chocolate milk, or stories filled with fairies and faraway fairytale lands. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and no one ever seemed to leave her home empty-handed. As a mother, she was always there to cheer you on, to believe in you, and to remind you that you were loved. She was beautiful, full of life, and loved to dance, leaving behind memories that will be treasured forever.

A calling hour for Elizabeth will be held Saturday, March 21st, from 10:00 to 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
