Southbridge : Enedina Reyes, 78, passed away on Friday, June 24 ^th , in the UMass Memorial Hospital - Harrington, Southbridge, after a brief illness.

Her husband, Jose E. Pagan, passed away in 1998.  She leaves her two children, Eduardo Reyes, Jr. and his wife Cheryl Wheaton-Reyes of Fiskdale and Amarillis Reyes and her partner Edwin Delgado of Southbridge; her five grandchildren, Javier Melendez, Kenneth L. Melendez, Amarillis M. Burgos, Marcie Reyes and Emily E. Reyes; and a great granddaughter, Everly Melendez.  She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.  Enedina was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Federico Quintana and Justiniana Gomez.

Enedina worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for many years, retiring many years ago.  She was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge.  She was also a talented seamstress and an amazing cook.  Above all she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Enedina's funeral service and burial in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
