Southbridge: Eric E. Brousseau, 52, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26 ^th , in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, after a long battle with Niemann-Pick Disease.

He leaves his parents, Edward and Jane (Lockhart) Brousseau of Southbridge; his sister Kori Brousseau Garfield of Southbridge; and his niece Sabine Garfield of Southbridge.  He was predeceased by his sister, Tracy Brousseau, who also passed away from Niemann-Pick Disease in 2002.

Eric was born in Southbridge on Feb. 26, 1968.  He was a 1986 graduate of Southbridge High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Drew University in New Jersey.  He went on to receive his Master's degree from Worcester State College.

Eric's funeral service and burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge, will be private.  There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers donations in Eric's and his sister Tracy's memory may be made to the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, 4729 E. Sunrise Dr. PMB 327, Tucson, AZ 85718-4547.
