Sturbridge: Gail M. Hubert, 72, of Heritage Green Drive, passed away on Wednesday, May 10th, in UMass Memorial Hospital, Harrington, after an illness.

She leaves her sister, Sandra L. Landry and her husband Stephen of Richmond, RI; her four nieces and nephews, James Hubert, Jr., Linda O'Connell and her husband William, Jr., Richard Wijangco; William Wijangco and his wife Jane and her six great nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by a brother, James R. Hubert.

Gail was born in Worcester the daughter of Richard G. and Blanche A. (Brown) Hubert. She worked for many years for Astra Zenera in Westboro in Quality Control prior to retiring. Gail enjoyed many activities including playing golf, softball, and traveling. Trips to Sweden and abroad. She loved the beach and mostly painting. She was a member of Greenville Baptist Church in Leicester. Gail loved her family and cherished her time spent with her sister, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Gail will be held on Thursday, May 18 ^th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
