Giuseppe Salvatore Struppa
June 24, 2013 – October 5, 2024

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Giuseppe Salvatore Struppa. Seppe fought an incredibly tough battle with Diffuse Midline Glioma (brain cancer), for 13 long months. Although his life was short, it was filled with love, kindness, and fairness—principles he held close.

Giuseppe is survived by his Mumma, Lisa, his little brother, Dominic, and Michael, his Dadda. He also leaves behind many "aminal" family members. Giuseppe touched countless lives and will be missed by all of his extended family, friends, and teammates.

Giuseppe had a passion for World War II history, and his knowledge captivated anyone who would listen. He loved school, huskies, hockey, soccer, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Boston Bruins. He was obsessed with punk rock and ska music, and was an avid concertgoer (even letting Mumma tag along). He was a natural on the ice and loved playing hockey for the Worcester Junior Crusaders. Giuseppe was a player every teammate could count on. He always supported all of his fellow Crusaders, especially his younger brother, Dominic. Seppe was the ultimate good-deed do'er. He loved making people happy, and would gladly give away what he had to make another child smile. No one had better manners than our Seppe. He was the perfect son and the world lost one of the best.

A celebration of Giuseppe's life will be held at his home ice, Buffone Arena, 284 Lake Ave., Worcester, MA, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the Seppe Strong Benefit Fund ℅ CornerstoneBank MA, or through Venmo @seppestrong.
