Charlton: Helen (Rischitelli) Zimmerman, 100, passed away on Monday, July 31st, in the Overlook Masonic Healthcare Center, Charlton, after a long illness.

Her husband of 54 years, Earl W. Zimmerman, passed away in 2019.  She was predeceased by her three brothers, John Rischitelli, Edward "Gingi" Rischitelli and Harry Rischitelli; her two sisters, Leona Colognesi and Antonia Malagrida; a niece, JoAnn Slattery; and three nephews, Richard Rischitelli, David Rischitelli and Robert Rischitelli.  Helen is survived by many nieces and nephews.  She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Giovanni and Nicoletta Rischitelli.  She was a graduate of the former Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge.

Helen worked for many years for Bullocks Department Store in Los Angeles, Ca, retiring many years ago.  She and Earl lived in the Huntington Beach, CA for over 60 years, moving to Charlton in 2016.

A funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24th at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  There are no calling hours.
