Holland: Irene C. (Beliveau) Green, 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 29 ^th , at the Heritage Hall West in Agawam, after a brief illness.

She was the devoted wife of Howard S. Green, her husband of 68 years who passed away in March of 2019.  She leaves her daughter, Patricia Holmes and her husband Craig of Yarmouth Port, her three sons, Howard S. "Smitty" Green, Jr. and his fiancé Sandy Hamilton of Worcester, David Green and his wife Carol of Manchester, CT and Leonard Green and his wife Cathy of Spotsylvania, VA; her two sisters, Jeanne LaBelle of Holyoke and Catherine Chmiel and her husband Stan of Holyoke; 5 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Constance McAndrews and Judith Loughrey.  She was born in Holyoke the daughter of Edward V. and Marcelle A. (Frechette) Beliveau.

Irene loved hosting family cookouts, singing and feeding the hummingbirds. She enjoyed looking at photos of her family, especially her great grandchildren.  Above all, Irene loved her family and was most happy spending time with them.

Irene's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff at Heritage Hall West for all the loving care and support they gave during her time there.

Due to current health restrictions Irene's funeral service and burial in Holland Cemetery, Holland will be held at a later date.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
