Southbridge : Irma A. (Bonimelli) Lataille, 87, of Durfee St., passed away on Monday, Jan. 31st, in Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care, Southbridge, after a brief illness.

Her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert R. Lataille died in 2009.  She leaves her two sons, Michael R. Lataille and his life partner Cindy of Las Vegas, NV and Dennis C. Lataille of Southbridge; her grandson, Christopher M. Lataille of Las Vegas, NV; and many close cousins both here and in Italy.

Irma was born in Rome, Italy the daughter of Attilio and Ada (Baglioni) Bonimelli.  She worked for 36 years as a Lens and Frame Solderer for the American Optical company prior to retiring many years ago.  Irma was a devoted catholic and faithful member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton as well as a past member of St. Rita's Society at St. Mary's Church of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge.  She loved cooking and enjoyed preparing dinners and baking her true Italian meals for family and friends.  Irma always remained close with her family in Italy and has taken dozens of trips back to Italy to spend time with all of them.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Southbridge Rehabilitation and Health Care for their loving care and compassion.

A funeral for Irma will be held on Monday, Feb. 7th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 6th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
