Southbridge : James L. Dhembe, Jr., 64, of Cole Ave., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 23rd, after an illness.

He leaves his beloved wife of 34 years, LeeAnn M. (Palmerino) Dhembe; three brothers, Albert F. Dhembe and his wife Zarri of East Brookfield, Joseph M. Dhembe of Newfane, VT, and Michael J. Dhembe of Southbridge; his two sisters, Linda A. Dhembe and Jeanette M. Dhembe both of Sturbridge; his four nephews, Dimitri Dhembe, Nicholas Dhembe, Jabob Palmerino and Devon Palmerino; six nieces, Christina Arpin, Mallory Flagg, Diana Barresi and her husband Robert, Angela Arpin, Alexis Dhembe and her husband Shaun Steele and Rosalie Wood.  James was predeceased by a brother, Louis J. Dhembe and a sister, Alexandra Arpin.

He was born in Southbridge the son of the late James L. and Theresa J. (Sauvageau) Dhembe, Sr.

Jimmy owned and operated Jimmy D's in Sturbridge as well as the Red Baron Diner at the Southbridge Airport.   He loved to cook and bake especially for family picnics as well as holiday dinners.

Funeral Services and burial for Jimmy will be private.  There are no calling hours.

Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
