Sturbridge: Jann H. (Hendrick) Holland, 81, of Turner Lane, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, Dec. 8th, in UMass Memorial Hospital-Southbridge, after a long illness.

Jann leaves her beloved husband and best friend of 61 years, David M. Holland; her two daughters, Tina H. Whitney and her husband Bill of Nobleboro, ME and Stacey H. Varney and her husband Mark of Spring Hill, TN; her five cherished grandchildren, Brendan Conner, Andrew Conner, Austin Varney, Cameron Varney and Madison Varney.

Jann was born in West Chester, PA the daughter of John H. and Jayne J. (Jefferis) Hendrick.

She was a strong advocate for Domestic Violence and Battered Women's Shelters.  Jann was a devoted wife and mom and loved spending time with her five grandchildren. She loved their family home in New Hampshire and the many years of family vacations together.  Jann has always been a dog lover her entire life and will be missed by her current four legged friend "Maggie"

A graveside service for Jann in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley, MA will be private and held at a later date.  The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
