Charlton : Jean Nicole Cunnane, 38, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3 ^rd , in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester, after a long illness.

She leaves her two children, Isabella B. Pettinelli and Logan W. Pettinelli of Charlton; her mother, Eljay W. LaForte of Charlton; her father, Mick J. Cunnane and his wife Cindy of Shrewsbury; her step sister, Jamie Saad and her husband Zach of Milford; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  She also leaves her beloved cat "Dixie".  She was predeceased by her step father Paul "Hawk" LaForte.  Jean was born in Worcester on Oct. 31, 1983.  For her K-6 years of education she attended Wachusett Valley Christian Academy in Holden.  She graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School and went on to attend Marywood University in Scranton, PA where she majored in communications.

Jean was a CNA for Tempus Unlimited Nursing Agency and was mainly assigned to the Overlook Masonic Healthcare in Charlton.  Jean was an accomplished figure skater and was a former member of the NorthStar Figure Skating Club in Westboro. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends around a campfire.  She loved her mother who was also her best friend.  Above all else she loved and cherished her children Isabella and Logan.

Jean was a loving person was loved by all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.

A graveside service for Jean will be held on Friday, Aug. 19 ^th , at 3:00pm in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton, followed by a memorial gathering at the Charlton Beagle Club, 103 Bond Rd., Charlton.  There are no calling hours.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
