Auburn: Jean H. (Gordon) Fitzgerald, 101, passed away on Thursday, July 2nd, in the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, Worcester, after a long illness.

Her husband of 67 years, Henry J. Hank' Fitzgerald, Sr., passed away in 2014.  She leaves her son, Henry J. 'Hank' Fitzgerald, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Pawleys Island, SC; her daughter, Mary Perrin of Duarte, CA; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her two brothers, James Gordon and John Gordon and her sister, Patricia Vosburgh.  She was born in Albany, NY.

Jean was a devoted wife and mother, graciously taking on any task that was required to care for her family.  Jean also had a great flair for interior design.

A graveside service for Jean in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Southbridge, will be held at a later date.  There are no calling hours.

The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, is directing arrangements.
