Southbridge : Joan E. (Montigny) Capillo, 85, of Sayles St., passed away on Wednesday, Oct 6th, in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, after a brief illness.

Her beloved husband of 41 years, Joseph C. Capillo died in 1998.

She leaves her daughter Cynthia A. Capillo, Cynthia's longtime companion Roland "Buck" Bousquet and her granddaughter, Makayla "Mimi" Capillo with whom she lived.  She also leaves her daughter, Elise M. Capillo, a son, Joseph C. Capillo Jr. and a sister, Shirley Kwiatkowski.

She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Armand J. and Ernestine E. (Boyle) Montigny.

Joan worked as an office Administrator for Dr. Brian Roy in Southbridge for more than 10 years before retiring many years ago.

Funeral Services and burial for Joan will be private.  There are no calling hours.

Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
