Southbridge: John M. Curboy, Jr., 54, of Worcester St., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11 ^th , in his home after a long battle with cancer.

He leaves his wife, Tina M. Miller, they have been together for 24 years.  He also leaves his mother, Gloria J. (Frank) Nichols of Washington; his six children, John M. Curboy, III of Pennsylvania; Max of South Carolina, Amber Rupe of Tennessee, Isebele of South Carolina, Marissa and Gloria Curboy of Southbridge; his brother, Brian Curboy of Ware; his two sisters, Elizabeth Curboy of Washington and Michaela McCoy of Washington; his three grandsons, John, Robert and Rory; two aunts, an uncle and nieces and nephews.  He was born in Milford the son of the late John M. "Jack" Curboy.

John was a self-employed jewelry maker and artist.  Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling throughout the USA.  He was also an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors.

Calling hours for John will be held on Sunday, Jan. 16 ^th , from 2:00 to 4:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  His funeral services and burial will be private.
