Haverhill: Jonathan V. Christo, 62, passed away on Monday, Aug. 16 ^th , in the Holy Family Hospital, Haverhill, after a long illness.

He leaves his son, Steven Christo of Utah; his daughter, Jennifer Carey and her husband Chris of Rockland; his mother, Julia (Lazour) Christo of Methuen; his two brothers, David Christo of Amesbury and Dr. Daniel Christo and his wife Nancy of Cranberry Township, PA; and his two grandsons, Cole Carey and Killian Carey.  He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Steve Christo.

Jonathan was a chef and worked at several restaurants in Haverhill, Wakefield and Boston before retiring several years ago.

His funeral will be held on Friday, Aug. 20 ^th , from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a service at 11:00am in St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church, 129 Morris St., Southbridge.  Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge, will be held at a later date.  A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Friday, Aug. 20 ^th , from 9:30 to 10:30am, prior to the service.
