Southbridge: Jorge E. Santa, 55, passed away on Monday, Nov. 2nd, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester, after a long illness.

He leaves his daughter, Naisha A. Santa of Land O’ Lakes, FL; his father, Narciso Santa of Southbridge; his two brothers, David Santa and his wife Jennifer of Southbridge and Carlos Santa of Southbridge; his two sisters, Lucy Santa and her husband Ted Tetreault of Southbridge and Sandy Santa and Andy Ortiz of Southbridge; his grandson, Jaxon Thai; his five nieces and nephews, Kailey Ortiz, Isabella Santa, Kelsea Santa, Jarod Tetreault and Joshua Conely; and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Aida (Vargas) Santa and his two nephews, Jaime Ortiz and Jonathan Santa. Jorge was born in Southbridge on Dec. 10, 1970.

Jorge loved sports of all kinds and had a natural talent for everything he played. He had a great sense of humor and had a great way with kids.

His funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 9th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southbridge, will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
