Joshua M.
Presutti
Mar 19, 1976 — Dec 10, 2024
Southbridge
Southbridge: Joshua M. Presutti, 48, of Ellis Rd., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 10th.
He leaves his wife, Jessica E. (Snyder) Presutti; his son, Anthony V. Presutti; his parents, Michael P. and Deborah L. (Drake) Presutti of Tiverton, RI; his sister, Sarah O'Bryant and her husband Matthew of Warren, RI; his paternal grandmother, Louise A. Presutti of Southbridge; his aunt, Deborah Normandin and her husband Tim of Southbridge; and his uncle, John Presutti and his wife Sharron of Southbridge. Joshua was born in Worcester on March 19, 1976.
Joshua was a loyal employee for United Parcel Service for 31 years. Josh enjoyed being with friends, and was an extremely loyal friend. He loved movies and was always ready with a quote. He and his son Anthony often went to Redbox to rent movies and watch them together. He had a big contagious laugh that we loved and will miss dearly, and you can sometimes hear in his son.
Often Josh was outside in nature looking for birds, one of his favorite pastimes, and he had a hawk that visited him regularly. He showed his family countless wildlife pictures, making sure we saw every detail. So many remember his love of sports and playing basketball with him in his younger days, and even though Josh didn't play much recently, you could pretty much always find him in his basketball shorts and muscle tanks looking like he was ready for a game.
When he wasn't scouting in nature he was hunting for deals and no one, NO ONE, loved a deal more than Josh. A deeply generous person, he rarely got anything for himself without getting one for you. And if you needed anything he was ready to give, and be sure you knew he found it for 50% off.
But more than anything else Josh loved his family, and he made sure we knew he loved us. Whether it was a giant bear hug or a text throwing you cartoon kisses, he reminded those he loved that they were precious to him. He intensely loved his son, and talked about him often. He was never happier than sitting with his family, our mom making our favorite meals, laughing together. Our beloved and irreplaceable son, father, brother and friend. And we will carry you with us, until we see you again.
Calling hours for Joshua will be held on be held on Friday, Dec. 20th, from 9:00 to 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Funeral services and burial will be private.
