Webster: Joyce R. (Roy) Poirier, 75, of Slater St., passed away on Saturday, March 28th, in the Webster Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Webster, after an illness.

Her beloved husband, Andre J. Poirier died in 2000.  She leaves her three daughters, Carol A. Pryor and her husband Robert of Dudley, Denise Grzyb and her husband Jack of Dudley and Michelle M. Roy and her husband Christopher of Webster; two sisters, Linda Kenney and Lorrie Brunet; three grandchildren, Sadie Linkous, Joshua Healy and Renee Alicea; and four great grandchildren, Alaina, Jayde, Hannah and Christopher

Joyce was born in Putnam, CT the daughter of Emile J. and Eva E. (Chenette) Roy.  She worked for the American Optical Company in Southbridge as well as an office clerk for C Optics in Webster before retiring many years ago.  Joyce was a member of Notre Dame Church of St. John Paul II Parish in Southbridge.  She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.   Joyce cherished her family and loved to spend time with them and enjoyed watching their games.

Funeral Services and Burial in New Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.   There are no calling hours.
