Southbridge : Kathleen M. Desy, 84, of Litchfield Ave., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8 ^th , in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Lake Ave. Campus, after an illness.

Her beloved husband, Donald Kaminski died many years ago.  Kay leaves with her niece and caregiver, Rosa Tirado and her husband Luis Tirado who loved her very dearly; her four great nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Wakeem, Andrea and Angelica; who also gave her six great great nieces and nephews, Jisaiah, Jayvion, Keilyani, Zaveen, De'Antoni.and baby Samson, who loved their Aunty Kay so much.

Kay was born in Worcester the daughter of Cyrille G. and Elizabeth (Devlin) Desy.

She was a loving teacher in the Shrewsbury school system, and enjoyed her 43 years of teaching children about history.  Kay was a role model to so many.  She was full of life and as a mother, wife, Nana, aunt and friend she will be missed by many.

Funeral services and burial for Kathleen will be private.  There are no calling hours.
