Boston: Kathryn Naum Peters died on October 24, 2024 at the age of 90, with her daughter Susan Peters, and her son Eliot Peters by her side.  Kathryn was born on June 3, 1934 to Erakli and Thomaidha (Ghorg) Naum.  She was the oldest of four children.  Her brothers Norman and William, and her sister Louise Naum Guillot have predeceased her.  Kathryn graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in North Grosvenordale CT.  She later moved to Southbridge MA where she raised her family.  Kathryn was a kind and loving person who was genuinely loved by all.  She was happiest spending time with her family, and loved playing cards, dominos, bingo, and the occasional trip to the casino.  Kathryn worked at the United Lens Company in Southbridge for many years as a secretary and receptionist.  She was respected for her strong work ethic, and appreciated for her warm and welcoming demeanor with all who visited the company.  A number of years after retiring, Kathryn starting working part time for Cracker Barrel as a way to stay busy and interact with others.  She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to decorate for the holidays and cook favorite family recipes that her family loved.  In her later years, Kathryn moved to West Roxbury to live with her daughter Susan where she continued to stay active, and they had many fun adventures together.  "Kathy" was part of the gang with her daughter's friends, colleagues, and members of her golf league.  She made an endearing impression with everyone who met her, and spent time with her.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

She leaves her son, Eliot M. Peters and his partner Dianne Dagon; her daughter, Susan J. Peters; nieces, Andrea Cronin and her husband John, Tara Salvas and her wife Margo Uraco, and nephew Greg Guillot and his wife Tanda; great nieces and nephews, Tori, Laney, Livie, Elizabeth, Alex, Maddie, and Kathryn. Her nephew Jeffrey Guillot predeceased her.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a service at 10:00am in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 55 North St., Southbridge, MA 01550.  Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
