Charlton: Kurt A. Christiansen, 54, of City Depot Rd., passed away at home on Sunday, Jan. 10 ^th , after an illness.

He leaves his five brothers, Paul M. Christiansen and his companion Rae Marie of Talmo, GA, Jon E. Christiansen of Webster, Todd M. Christiansen and his wife Heather of Charlton, Carl J. Christiansen and his wife Sandra of Charlton and Jay P. Christiansen and his wife Karla of Charlton; his three sisters, Gail M. VanDeursen and her husband Charlee of Las Vegas, NV, Karen S. Largesse and her husband Jack of Charlton, and Kym M. Johnson and her husband Keith of Charlton; many nieces and nephews, and his favorite neighbors the Seiferts.  Kurt was predeceased by a brother, Robert A. Christiansen, Jr. and a sister, Jo-Ann Conour.

He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Robert A. and Rita M. (Bucharelli) Christiansen, Sr.

Kurt resided in Charlton, and for the past twenty years he lived with his brother Todd, his wife Heather, and their children Nicholas, and Lauren.  Kurt was under the loving care of Todd's wife Heather for many years.  Kurt more than anything, loved his family. Nothing made him happier than spending time with them.  Kurt had a wicked sense of humor.  He was loved by all with his amazing smile.

He attended Seven Hills for over 20 years and everyone there was like his second family.  Kurt was known for his inappropriate but funny T-shirts and his nick name there was Kurt the Flirt.

His presence with us will be immeasurably missed and the void he leaves behind impossible to fill.

Kurt's funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 15 ^th at 11:00 am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge.  Calling hours for Kurt will be held in the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 15 ^th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
