Sturbridge: Lina (Taglieri) Chouinard, 71, of Park Circle, passed away on Saturday, July 8th, in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Harrington, Southbridge, after a long illness.

Her husband, David E. Chouinard, passed away in 2010.  She leaves her son, Eric D. Chouinard and his wife Jenny of Southbridge; her brother, Eugene Taglieri of Brimfield; her granddaughter, Olivia Chouinard; and her two nieces, Kayla Taglieri and Jamie Taglieri.  She was predeceased by her brother, Mario Taglieri.  Lina was born in Tocco de Casauria, Italy the daughter of the late Vittorio and Secunda (Iancuone) Taglieri.

Lina worked for AO Safety which became Aearo Safety, Chabot Safety and 3M Safety before retiring several years ago after 30 years with the company.  She loved her cats.  She also loved her neighbor's dog, Bella.  She enjoyed trips to the casino and motorcycle riding with her husband all over New England.  Most of all Lina loved spending time with her granddaughter.

A graveside service for Lina will be held on Friday, July 14th, at 12:00pm in the North Cemetery, Maple St., Sturbridge.  There are no calling hours.
