Charlton: Linda R. Ashe, 70, of Meadowview Dr., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20th, in the Life Care Center of Auburn, after a long illness.

She leaves her three children, Gregory Brunell of Charlton, Eric Brunell of Auburn, and Virginia Porter and her husband David of Charlton; her brother, Joseph Ashe and his wife Anne of Dudley; and her seven grandchildren, Alexis, Jake, Cameron, Quinn, Colton, Cody and Owen.  She was predeceased by her former husband, Paul R. Brunell and her brother, Michael Ashe.  She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Roger and Bridget (Augustynski) Ashe.

Linda worked as a receptionist for UMass Memorial Hospital, at the University Campus on Lake Ave. in Worcester for 30 years, retiring several years ago.  She also worked at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.

Linda was a member of the Red Hats Society.  She loved going to yard sales, going to the beach and camping.  She was an avid Red Sox fan.  She also loved her Yorkie dogs.  Above all Linda loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Linda's family would like to thank the staff at Life Care of Auburn and the staff from New England Hospice for all of the care and compassion they gave her during her illness.

A funeral Mass for Linda will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27th, at 12:00pm in St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.  Calling hours in St. Joseph's Church will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27th, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, prior to the Mass.
